Imprescindible la visita al valle de los nobles, son las tumbas más bonitas de todas las que visitamos, destacando la de sennefer. Akram nuestro guía nos llevó a ver las más importantes, nos organizaron estas visitas junto al tour del Valle de los reyes y reinas de tal forma que las tumbas de los nobles nos cuadrase sin gente. Como entre los dos tours no incluían la comida Akram nos invitó a un sándwich de falafel riquísimo de camino a las tumbas. Translate this opinion into English.

A visit to the Valley of the Nobles is a must; these are the most beautiful tombs of all we visited, especially Sennefer's. Our guide, Akram, took us to see the most important ones. These visits were arranged in conjunction with the Valley of the Kings and Queens tour so that we could visit the tombs of the nobles without crowds. Muy bien nuestro guía Nasser que nos explicó lugares y estuvimos casi solos en muchos momentos de la visita. Lo que no me gustó, y no es culpa de Nasser ni de Civitatis, es que en uno de los templos por hacernos una explicación cutre y breve los porteros te exigían una propina, a pesar que varias veces no les hicimos caso. Además no dejaban entrar a nuestro guía Nasser y acompañarnos.

Our guide, Nasser, was very good at explaining the sites to us, and we were almost alone for many moments during the visit. Visita muy recomendable . Muy interesantes y nuestro guía, además de hablar muy bien español, se notaba que sabía muchísimo. Estuvo muy atento y contestó todo lo que se le preguntó. Lo único que no me gustó es que antes de Medinet Habu, nos paramos a tomar algo en una de las cafeterías por recomendación del guía. Era el sitio más caro de los que había, más del doble con respecto al sitio de al lado. ¿Sensación? El guía se lleva una parte de lo que se consuma... La actividad fue de 10 (las tumbas increíbles y nuestro guía Mon muy bueno) pero la organización de Civitatis pésima. A unas horas de empezar nadie se ponia en contacto conmigo, llamaba y me colgaban...cuando por fin alguien del barco los contactó me dijeron que todo cerraba a las 16:00 porque era Ramadán por lo que adelantamos la salida media hora (la actividad duró dos horas y media en vez de las 4 que había pagado). Deberian informar claramente de esto.

The activity was 10 (the incredible tombs and our Mon guide was very good) but the organization of Civitatis was terrible. A few hours after starting, no one contacted me, they called and they hung up on me... when someone from the ship finally contacted them, they told me that everything closed at 4:00 p.m. because it was Ramadan, so we advanced the departure half an hour (the activity lasted two and a half hours instead of the 4 that I had paid for). They should clearly report this.

Muchas paradas fuera de las excursiones contratadas, (tiendas de esencias, de especias, etc). Al final el tiempo se va otras cuestiones que no tienen nada que ver con lo que queremos ver en la excursión.

Se olvidaron de nosotros.. Tenían que venir a recogernos el sábado a las 14h ya allí no apareció nadie. Cuando llamamos para preguntar porqué se retrasaban fue cuando se percataron de que se habían olvidado de nosotros… nos sugirieron hacer la excursión primero, una hora más tarde a lo cualy luego, al día siguiente, a lo cual accedimos. Punto positivo fue que, el guía que nos tocó al día siguiente fue una persona muy amable que lo explicó todo muy bien.

They forgot about us. They had to come pick us up on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and no one showed up there. When we called to ask why they were late, it was when they realized that they had forgotten about us... they suggested we do the excursion first, an hour later, to which, and then, the next day, to which we agreed. No recomiendo a nadie contratar Tours por Egipto, todas las agencias son bastante chanchulleras e intentarán venderte todo lo posible. El guía de egiptólogo nada, un desastre. De verdad que si tenéis pensado contratar un tour recomiendo mucho más cerrar un precio con un conductor privado (vuestro hotel puede ayudar con esto) y te van llevando a los distintos puntos de interés, además de recomendarte y llevarte cuando hay menos gente y disfrutas más la visita.

I do not recommend anyone to hire Egypt Tours, all agencies are quite tricky and will try to sell you everything possible. The Egyptologist guide swims, a disaster. Really, if you plan to hire a tour, I recommend much more closing a price with a private driver (your hotel can help with this) and they will take you to the different points of interest, in addition to recommending you and taking you when there are fewer people and you enjoy more the visit.
