Não conseguimos acessar a estrutura do canal. Não ficou claro se foi falha da empresa que organizou ou exército não estava permitindo naquele dia. Acessamos fotos do canal por um restaurante que fica próximo. Guia não conhecia ou não conseguiu sequer explicar o básico do histórico do local. Almoçamos no Cairo visto que o passeio acabou eram 10:00 ou seja muito antes do previsto. Almoço foi bom.

Si recomiendo el servicio y la exploración a estos nuevos lugares para el viajero en compañía de profesionales con alta formación académica resultó ser superadora de todas mis expectativas. 1. There was an avoidable confusion about the meeting point at the hotel, though I had made an arrangement by calling 01147848787 in the previous day. 2. In fact, the trip was a visit to Ismailia lake and not to Suez canal. We saw only from a big distance the passing ships and nothing of the above picture. That was not what we had in mind and you should mention what visitors are to see. 3. The guide was kind but did not know the area well. The food was good.

I regret to say that this wasn't a great tour. My guide made an effort to smoothen the situation, but really at some point, it was too late. To start with I had a good level of information, good communication in English. But then it became weird when the guide and the driver were asking their way around to random people to have directions. It was unprepared and improvised. We waited 1H50 to have our lunch served. The guide even left me for half an hour to go praying. Unprofessional. A joke.

They went to the wrong hotel (but their office is nearby) so pickup was 1.5 hrs late? The drive was 3 hrs one-way so I saw the Suez Canal for 20 mins (15 mins of talk from Guide about Suez Canal and his kids). I was offered lunch, shopping downtown and then offered dinner as compensation. I only wanted 2 Egyptian breads for lunch as we had early flights out of Cairo and my wife wanted to eat dinner at the hotel. I never got lunch. Asked for some refund. I'll never book a tour again.

La visita al Canal de Suez fue una sorpresa. La excursión no estaba preparada y el guía no tenía conocimiento de como se pueden ver los barcos navegando por el canal. Conductor y guía fueron sin embargo flexibles y aceptaron seguir las indicaciones mías para explorar los lugares donde se podían ver los barcos. Finalmente, fuimos capaces de ver los barcos en un sitio ideal en Ismailía, en un parque justo en el canal, donde el propio canal da la bienvenida a los visitantes WELCOME TO EGYPT.

The visit to the Suez Canal was a surprise. The excursion was not prepared and the guide had no knowledge of how you can see the boats sailing through the canal. Driver and guide were however flexible and agreed to follow my instructions to explore the places where the boats could be seen. Finally, we were able to see the boats in an ideal location in Ismailia, in a park right on the canal, where the canal itself welcomes WELCOME TO EGYPT visitors.
